Today I went to the gym for an 8:30 AM Butt ‘n Gut class (made it by 8:40) and then to the diner to meet a friend.
I was wearing my Hudson jeans, my favorite J Crew top and my new Super Gaga sneakers.
Most comfy and stylish outfit ever.

In the locker room, after a quick body-only shower, I put some Klorane dry shampoo, in my hair. I actually got a compliment on my hair’s shine and body later in the day.

Going to the gym and then showering and getting ready for the day is one of the best mood boosters for me. I usually feel so efficient. Why take the extra minutes going home, pulling into the garage, car off, upstairs, etc? I think that efficient, productive mood (from a shower –  at the gym!) stays with me for a good portion of the day. I recommend trying it and seeing how it makes you feel.

Klorane Dry Shampoo (link above)

Marcelle BB Cream I got a sample of this last year and then lo and behold I am a multi-time purchaser. I just like it. The glow part the most. And it’s easy.

W3LL People Universalist Multi-Use Color Stick I use this as my blush.  I have the Creamy Crimson color and I hesitated between that color and Berry Blush.  My game time decision worked out even without sampling.

Let’s discuss how this is named a multi-use stick and let me be clear I will not multi-use it.  I’ve been using it on my cheeks for the past few months.  It’s not that it is too dirty to use on my lips but it is too cheek-ified and I don’t like the way it slides (in that it does not slide) on my lips.  So I did try to multi-use it but I don’t as the rule.  I refer to it as a multi-use stick in that I use it on both of the cheeks on my face!

They’re Real Benefit Mascara I have fallen into the “you need mascara” camp.  I am not so psyched about it because I went so many years not in that camp.  I am not regretful that I used to go out of the house without it.  I still do sometimes just not as often.  Also can we talk about Benefit products?  I just think they are so not for a 41 year old.  I believe the company seeks out the 18-30 demographic and it might even be they are better suited to someone in their 20s.  But you know what?  I refuse to ignore their ads and marketing!!  I love Benefit products and I am proud.

For the final touch, if I have time and if I feel like final touching, I will use either this powder by Hourglass or J Crew’s RMS Luminizer. I love love love the powder –  – it refracts light.  That is its jam. But sometimes it feels like it might be too much.  I don’t know.  I used to not wear so much make-up so what can I say? When I put this on (Dim Light is the color I have) over all of the above products on my face well, it’s hard to feel natural and such.  That said, I wore it 3-4 times a week this past winter.

The RMS Luminizer is a newer purchase.  I am sucker for some of this stuff (a doy!) and I am not quite sure if I love it yet but I’ve heard and read great reviews about the product and the company, RMS.
