Not enough tile being ordered, measurements not quite right, and not enough tile being ordered? I mean, sure it happens. But then you wait and wait and your project is waiting and waiting and you don’t have a kitchen! You have 2 kids, sure. A spouse who likes to eat too.

Well, let’s just say that it’s nice to not be uptight about these kinds of things. I am more astonished at the same-ness of it all. Is it boring? Maybe. But maybe not because going through it yourself well, of course that is fun! Look, the hood we picked out 4 months ago is actually in our kitchen now! Look how great those cabinets look. Wow, we are such good deciders.

So, yes, the hood is in. The microwave (it’s a drawer!) is in. Soon I will be forced to cook again and you know what? I cannot wait.
